Today, we're seeking a Bioprocess Engineer Manufacturing in Downstream to join our team in Visp. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for overseeing operational activities and ensuring the successful execution of manufacturing projects.
Main Responsibilities- Oversee the operational activities of manufacturing projects, including scheduling, supervision and documentation
- Lead a cross-functional project team to deliver projects from tech transfer to clinical production stage
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, driving initiatives to enhance quality, cost, efficiency and safety in the production area
- Represent Lonza during customer audits and visits, showcasing our manufacturing capabilities and expertise
- PhD or Master degree in biotechnology / bioinformatic / chemical engineering or related field
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in a GMP environment an advantage
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English and German
