Geotechnical and Structural Engineering Expert

To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- MSc in Civil Engineering, preferably with structural and geotechnical specializations; PhD degree is appreciated.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil structural and/or geotechnical engineering, with emphasis on advanced numerical modelling.
- Specific and direct experience in non-linear analyses, transient analysis, coupled problems, use of advanced constitutive modelling, and back-analysis supported by field data.
- Experience in structural and/or geotechnical designing of hydropower and hydrotechnical structures (dams, dam's appurtenant structures, tunnels, powerhouses, etc.).
- Able to communicate in a friendly, clear, and efficient way and skilled in explaining structural details.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory; knowledge of French is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Eurocodes; knowledge of other international standards, such as ACI, USBR, USACE is highly appreciated.
- Knowledge of specialized advanced Finite Element software.
- Good command of MS Office package and knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
- The ability and motivation to travel abroad for short assignments.
