Household Assistant

We are seeking a skilled household assistant to join our team at Good-People. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a family setting, particularly with children, as there may be an occasional need to care for a baby while the nanny collects the older children from school.

The most important aspect of the role is maintaining a high standard of cleaning and ironing. If you also have some cooking skills, that would be an additional asset.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning the house, including the terrace and entrance

Changing linen

Ironing and laundry

Caring for the newborn for 20-30 minutes while the nanny picks up the older children at school

Cooking or assisting in the kitchen, when time allows

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Switzerland: EU/Swiss passport or Swiss Permit
  • Written letters of recommendation or job certificates that we can validate
  • Very efficient in cleaning, tidying
  • Quick, energetic, organised and punctual
  • Experience working with private families with children
  • Cooking skills are a plus
  • Fluent in English, French or Italian
  • Resident in Geneva
