We are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Automation Engineer - PLC Expert to join our team at HR Talent House SA.

About the Role:

  • Design and Develop PLC Programs: Create efficient and reliable programs to control and optimize industrial automation processes.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing PLC systems to minimize downtime.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Work with engineers and technicians to integrate PLCs with other systems, such as HMI and SCADA.
  • Software Improvement: Modify, test, and improve PLC software for enhanced performance and reliability.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all systems meet safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Documentation and Support: Document technical work and provide support and training for maintenance teams and system operators.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Related Field: Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field.
  • PLC Experience: Have proven experience working with PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar).
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess strong knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Languages: Have intermediate German language skills (mandatory) and be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Travel Requirements: Be willing to travel to client sites when necessary.
