The successful candidate will have a proven track record of identifying control opportunities, assessing risk management, and evaluating internal controls. They will also possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development and implementation of internal audit strategies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-6 years of audit experience within the banking and financial services environment, preferably with experience in private banking, asset management, and trust business.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement;Assess risk management processes and recommend enhancements;Conduct audits and provide recommendations for process improvements;Develop and implement audit plans and strategies;Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;Document and report findings and recommendations to senior management;Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 5-6 years of audit experience within the banking and financial services environment;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
- Familiarity with internal auditing professional standards, guidelines, and procedures;
- Ability to conduct risk-based audits and assess internal control frameworks;
- Good understanding of local and group regulatory compliance requirements applicable to private banking and wealth management, asset management, and trust business;
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation preferred;
