About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our financial services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain internal financial procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards and group policies.
  • Authorize and verify account coding on invoices, balance billing and payment journals, and reconcile accounts.
  • Assist the Financial Controller in achieving the company's financial objectives and provide support to the financial team.
  • Produce monthly financial analyses and participate in budgeting and forecasting.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in accounting and the hospitality sector.
  • Expertise in financial standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and French.
  • Advanced computer skills and experience with financial software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
