About the Role
The Freeride World Tour is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Sport Department as a Qualifier Riders and Event Coordinator. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our events and the success of our athletes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate with riders in the Europe and Oceania region, ensuring a seamless experience for our athletes.
- Oversee the registration platform and database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Work closely with event organizers to ensure the successful execution of events.
- Assist with content management, including website updates and social media uploads.
- Support event management, including athlete registration and operational tasks during competitions.
- Perform administrative tasks, including liability disclaimers and insurance case management.
Requirements
- Student or graduate in Tourism, Business, or Sports Management or similar.
- Excellent English skills (spoken and written).
- Fluent in French (spoken and written), Spanish is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, strong in writing and wording.
- Proficient computer skills and experience with database software and content management.
- Flexible, structured, and detail-oriented with a high quality and service level.
- Pro-active and thorough approach.
- Able to work independently and efficiently within a small team.
- Remains self-composed under pressure and has good time management skills.
- Interest in sports in general and to enjoy the great outdoors, including winter sports.
- Willing to travel extensively during the winter season.
- Recognizes and accepts that during winter demands can be 24×7.
