Part-Time Infant Caregiver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nanny to care for a 6-month-old baby in a loving and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infant care, with experience in providing age-appropriate stimulation and following a structured routine.

Responsibilities:

1. Engagement and Development:

• Design and implement activities to stimulate cognitive, sensory, and motor skills.
• Encourage exploration and curiosity, introducing the baby to various experiences and new stimuli.
• Support early language and communication development through songs, stories, and interactions.

• Follow the baby's feeding and nap schedules as established by the parents.
• Diaper changes and assist with maintaining hygiene.
• Prepare and handle bottle feeding, ensuring proper sanitization and handling.

• Take the baby outside daily (weather permitting) to parks or for strolls in nature to promote physical and sensory engagement.
• Provide a safe environment while introducing the child to the world around them.

• Set gentle boundaries, helping the baby begin to understand routines and limits as they grow.
• Respect the family's approach to parenting and support their educational methods.
• Offer comfort and emotional support while encouraging independence.

• Maintain cleanliness in areas used by the baby, including play areas and feeding spaces.
• Communicate regularly with the parents regarding the child's needs and any observations.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience caring for infants.
• Valid EU passport or a Swiss work permit.
• Up-to-date infant and child first aid and CPR certification.
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

We are looking for a nanny who is warm, reliable, and able to support both the emotional and developmental needs of infants. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a household where parents may occasionally work from home.
