Job Description

As a Senior Data Engineer at Visium, you will play a critical role in helping our clients drive business value from their data. Your expertise in cloud engineering, data analytics, and data visualization will enable you to build robust data solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide data-driven insights to inform their decisions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data assets, including data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL processes based on well-known data platforms.
  • Build and manage data infrastructure, including data storage, processing, and access.
  • Implement data models and schema designs to support data analysis and reporting needs.
Requirements:
  • Over 5 years of experience building data assets and pipelines using platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
  • Proficient in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and related data services.
  • Skilled in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Quicksight.
  • Experienced with distributed data processing frameworks like Spark.
  • Familiar with software development principles, proficient in Python, and well-versed in data modeling and ETL design patterns.
  • Possesses a growth mindset, excels in problem-solving, and fluent communication both in English and French, German is a plus.
