In-House Legal Advisor

ROLE
• Develop and implement legal strategies to support business growth and minimize risk.
• Provide expert legal advice on commercial activities, contracts, and agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Analyze complex legal issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in commercial law and regulations, and apply this knowledge to inform business decisions.
• Perform other responsibilities and special projects to support the Legal department's objectives.
PROFILE
Requirements:
• Master of Law degree from a Swiss University and admission to the Swiss Bar.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience preferably acquired in a law firm and/or as an in-house counsel in an international company.
• Business acumen and sound knowledge of commercial law, notably of sale & purchase agreements, service agreements, joint development, and other types of collaboration agreements.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Experience in servicing customers and ability to manage the legal aspects of complex international contracts successfully and independently.
• LL.M or other postgraduate education and/or work experience would be considered as an advantage but are not a prerequisite.
Languages:
• Fluency in French and English required.
• Command of German or Spanish a plus.
