About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory and Materials Expert to join our team at Richemont. As a key member of our GPTC Regulatory Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of information in our Group Materials' Data Base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the GPTC Regulatory Team Experts to establish and maintain regulatory intelligence processes and tools to stay up-to-date on regulations impacting materials.
  • Participate in the creation and update of materials' attributes in the Group Materials' Data Base, validating materials' nomenclature and compliance attributes.
  • Organize webinar sessions for Q&A around the workflow of materials' creation/update in the Materials' Data Base.
  • Work closely with the business to stay informed on the mapping of suppliers and related materials used by the industry and with suppliers, vendors, and materials' experts to source, verify, and qualify materials' attributes.
  • Contribute to the overall improvement of the validation workflow and of the Materials' Data Model.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the services delivered by the Regulatory Team.
Requirements
  • University degree in materials' science, engineering, chemistry, biology, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience providing consultation, performing research, and content writing in an international environment in the field of expertise contributing to Materials and/or Regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of global product material compliance regulations (GHS, REACH, ROHS, POP, TSCA).
  • Experience in the normative environment of materials (UNS, ISO, DIN, SNV, NIHS) and in materials' properties, nomenclature, and classification.
  • Experience in regulatory research (regulatory databases and online resources).
  • Basic understanding of PDM & PLM tools' purposes.
  • Good general culture, intellectually curious, and motivated to extend existing materials knowledge across new classes of materials and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, humility, and listening, inspiring trust.
  • Consultative and cooperative way of interacting, with the ability to enforce Group guidelines and vision.
  • Knowledge of the Luxury industry network of suppliers is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in French and in English.
  • Demonstrated capacity to take initiative, work effectively, independently, and deliver on committed schedules, with a high sense of diligence and attention to detail.
