We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented laboratory technician to join our team at the Nano-antibody Service Facility. The successful candidate will assist the Head of NSF in generating phage-displayed nano-antibody libraries and selecting high affinity binders.
Your Responsibilities:- Perform molecular biology techniques such as amplification and purification of DNA, phage precipitation, bacterial expression, clone picking, and phage display screenings.
- Assist with general lab tasks like media and agar plate preparation using aseptic techniques, routine maintenance of instruments, cleaning glassware, managing laboratory inventory, and other tasks as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have an apprenticeship as a laboratory technician, a high school diploma with lab education, or an equivalent degree in Biology or related field with work experience in the molecular biology lab of at least 2 years.
