Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and developing Comfone AG's IP transport services and systems. Key responsibilities include implementing and managing IP transport access links, improving IP access infrastructure, proactively monitoring the IP access network, and troubleshooting services to minimize downtime.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A university degree or equivalent in telecommunications, communication systems, or a related field with a strong understanding of IP networks and protocols.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in operating carrier-grade IP networks.
  • Expertise in working with Cisco/Arista routers and switches, as well as firewalls, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with routing protocols BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, TCP/IP, IPSec, VLANs, QoS, and DNS, as well as network security principles and practices.
