Job Description

  • Plan, organize, and execute field tests of new engine components and system components on large two-stroke engines at licensees and commercial ships worldwide.
  • The planning and organization of the field tests takes place in close cooperation with internal experts as well as external parties such as customers and service networks.
  • Execution of the installation, inspection, and analysis of the test components on the two-stroke engines in operation.
  • Creation of detailed reports with analysis and evaluation of the test results and corresponding recommendations for internal experts.

Requirements

  • You have a completed technical education, preferably in mechanical engineering (polytechnic, truck mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, etc.) and have a further education as an engineer FH/HTL or higher.
  • You have preferably a few years of experience in machine construction (service or commissioning), experience with internal combustion engines, and ideally additional qualifications in the field of electricity/electronics.
  • Analytical and structured working style, also under demanding working conditions.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide and work in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good German and English language skills.
  • Practical MS Office knowledge.
