Global Supply Chain Planner for Biotechnology Innovations

Job Summary:

The Global Supply Chain Planner is a key role within Lonza, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of supply planning processes to support integrated planning across multiple continents. This position requires a high degree of collaboration with various stakeholders, including supply chain and functional leaders, to drive site manufacturing strategy recommendations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute proactive strategies to anticipate and mitigate supply planning risks.
  • Create and maintain supply plans, including master production schedules and medium-term capacity loading outlooks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified view of future supply plans and actions.
  • Maintain all supply-related parameters and master data in relevant planning systems.
  • Ensure operational readiness for supply chain activities to support on-time delivery.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management & Supply Chain Management, CPIM / APICS.
  • Highly experienced in supply chain management with advanced knowledge of project management and operations.
  • Ability to influence both supply chain and functional leaders to support supply planning and site manufacturing strategy recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Business Intelligence systems to extract data and generate reports.
