Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Managing Director to lead our global sustainable finance initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that align with our mission to promote sustainable finance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to promote sustainable finance practices globally.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team to achieve operational and programmatic goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with academic institutions, industry leaders, and stakeholders to further our mission.
- Manage the foundation's budget and financial reporting, fundraising strategies, and impact reporting.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving global operations in a nonprofit or foundation context.
- Experience in sustainable finance, including research and training.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
- Intrinsic motivation and commitment to work together in a global and dynamic team in a mission-oriented environment.
- Ability to effectively represent our organization, its programs, and publications in diverse settings.
