About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Research Scientist to join our team at Université de Lausanne. As a key member of our research group, you will play a crucial role in advancing our understanding of materials synthesis, chemical interactions, and characterization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments to develop novel materials for energy and environmental applications.
- Characterize the properties of materials using advanced techniques such as spectroscopy and crystallography.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Conduct literature reviews and stay up-to-date with the latest research in the field.
- Present research findings to colleagues and at conferences.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, materials science, or chemical engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in a research laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
