As a Senior Programme Manager at our Visp site in Switzerland, you will be responsible for advising on and implementing optimal project strategies to successfully deliver drugs to patients.

This is a challenging role that involves driving the complete life cycle of all projects, from contract signing to delivery, with a large and complex portfolio. You will lead a team of experts in a matrix organization and drive successful delivery in terms of quality, costs, and time.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving communication within Lonza and between Lonza and customers regarding risks and issues
  • Proactively managing resolutions
  • Controlling project scope and preparing amendments and/or scope changes in conjunction with the Proposals Team

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelors- or Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) with a technical background in chemistry, biology, biotechnology, or a similar field. A PhD is preferred. Previous work experience in Project Management, ideally in the pharmaceutical or CMO industry, is also required.

In addition, you should have proven knowledge of technical, commercial, and organizational issues that impact project strategy and planning. English proficiency is necessary, while fluency in German would be beneficial.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around 120,000 - 150,000 CHF per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.
