Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sustainability Auditor to join our team at coni+partner AG. As a key member of our internal audit department, you will be responsible for conducting audits in all areas of the manufacturing organization, with a focus on Sustainability and ESG.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits in all areas of the manufacturing organization, with a focus on Sustainability and ESG
  • Review the effectiveness and efficiency of governance, internal controls, and risk management
  • Plan and lead ESG and sustainability-related audits
  • Identify and assess risks in the area of Sustainability and ESG
  • Advising line managers on compliance with sustainability and ESG regulations and standards
  • Review of processes, controls, data, and systems, including outsourcing partners
  • Review of functions and configurations in SAP and other systems, and comparison with system data, manuals, guidelines, reports, etc.
  • Advising line managers and drawing up recommendations for risk reduction and optimization of processes and systems
  • Monitoring the status of the implementation of optimizations from previous audits
  • Preparation of concise audit reports and reporting of findings to the Head of Internal Audit
  • Presentation of Sustainability and ESG findings in the Audit Committee
Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor's in Business Administration
  • Audit certification (e.g. CIA, CPA, or CISA)
  • Experience in the internal audit department of a multinational company in the food or nutrition sector or a Big Four company
  • Profound SAP knowledge
  • Knowledge of Group internal audit methodologies and risk framework
  • Strong knowledge and experience in dealing with sustainability and ESG frameworks, standards, and laws
  • Solid knowledge of internal control systems, Group compliance, Risk Management (ERM), and Corporate Governance
  • Basic knowledge and experience in application testing and data analysis
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solving oriented thinking
  • Ability to lead an on-site audit team and deal with managers and employees of different grades and cultural backgrounds
