At Chain IQ, we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Value Creation Specialist to join our team in Zürich. As a key member of our Procurement Value Creation team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality procurement consulting services to clients globally.
Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective procurement strategies that drive business value and reduce costs. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that address their specific challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing Spend Analysis & Supplier Assessments: Conduct thorough spend analysis, assess suppliers, and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Collaborating with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions that address their specific challenges.
- Supporting Business Development: Assist in proposal writing and contribute to business development initiatives by identifying potential opportunities.
- Managing Workstreams: Take ownership of specific workstreams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and aligning with client expectations.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Consulting: 2–5 years of experience in these fields, with strong expertise in procurement, sourcing, and category management.
- Proactive mindset: Willingness to go the extra mile and proactively support the team and lead more junior resources.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and procurement analytics tools.
- Problem-Solving & Communication Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both German and English is essential; additional languages such as French or Spanish are a plus.
