We are looking for a highly skilled Global Partnerships Manager to join our team at the World Meteorological Organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental governance, conservation, and geospatial data management.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for forging partnerships with national governments and institutions, integrating relevant datasets, and advancing the implementation of the Global Ecosystems Atlas. This is a unique opportunity to work with a global partnership that promotes equitable access and use of Earth observations as evidence for environmental decisions, policies, and financing.

  • Build and maintain relationships with national governments and agencies to secure their collaboration and contributions to the Atlas.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships with regional organizations to support engagement with countries and facilitate national contributions to the Atlas.
  • Act as a liaison to align Atlas efforts with national priorities and identify opportunities for countries to champion the initiative within their regions.
  • Contribute to the development of an outreach strategy to engage key stakeholders and secure participation in the Atlas project.
