About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Company 81 - Manulife Data Services Inc. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 analysis and troubleshooting support for our suite of business applications.
  • Design, code, unit test, and integrate new features and functionality as needed.
  • Act as the technical escalation point of contact for critical incidents and issues related to our end-to-end processes.
  • Collaborate with production support teams and IT teams to resolve production issues.
  • Build partnerships with stakeholders and application teams to drive business solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze issues, and recommend or apply solutions to prevent further implications.
  • Facilitate requirements elicitation, business impact analysis, and document solution designs.
  • Provide guidance and support to market/business leads as a Subject Matter Expert.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting enterprise-level applications at Level 2.
  • Proven background in software development lifecycle, agile, and DevOps principles.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and awareness of industry best practices.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.

Technical Skills:

  • AKS (Azure Kubernetes) microservices and stop/restart of microservices.
  • SQL, Databases, and basic network configuration.
  • CA Workload Automation and JIRA.
  • Java 8 and Spring Boot 1.x.
