We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at United Methodist Homes, a nonprofit senior living organization in Shelton, CT. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing relationship-centered care to our residents in our Assisted Living Community: Crosby Commons.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily and periodic personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide nutrition and caring for the needs of residents, including serving meals and snacks.
  • Obtain vital signs, such as temperatures, pulses, respiration, blood pressures, heights, weights, and other unit-specific routines.
  • Contribute to effective communication with residents and other staff members, ensuring a positive and respectful environment.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Current Connecticut C.N.A. license, in good standing.
  • A genuine love and respect for seniors, with a commitment to providing exceptional care.
  • Ability to work every other weekend and holiday rotation, as scheduled.
  • Willingness to undergo a complete background check, including a physical and drug screen.
