The RoleWe are seeking an experienced scientist with a strong background in biochemistry, chemistry, or a related field to join our Proteomics & Metabolomics Technology Platform. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and executing experimental paradigms to advance biomarker identification and validation efforts.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing targeted (mid- and high-plex) and untargeted protein assays to enable investigative biomarker discovery studies in liquid biopsies, in vitro model systems, and tissues.
- Spearheading collaborations across therapeutic disease areas by generating and analyzing biomarker discovery and validation experiments, contributing to the delivery of project reports, and engaging with stakeholders to present and discuss findings in a dynamic and flexible manner.
- Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to general laboratory operations within the Proteomics & Metabolomics Technology Platform, including instrument maintenance, experimental troubleshooting, and the evaluation of new technologies.
- Maintaining a current knowledge of emerging technologies and approaches in the biomarker discovery field through active engagement with the scientific literature.
