Solutions Architect

At The International Air Transport Association, we are seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative IT solutions for the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement technical solutions for IATA's custom-built and commercial off-the-shelf IT systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-level design documents and ensure technical designs align with overall enterprise architecture.
- Participate in design sessions to provide various design alternatives and ensure technical designs scale with the business.
- Evaluate application performance bottlenecks and recommend remedial measures to ensure optimal system performance.
- Identify and recommend security measures to protect against potential threats.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience working with Microsoft and AWS at a senior level.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect.
- Strong expertise in Java/JEE, web services, cloud-based technologies, and ERP/CRM architectures.
- Ability to communicate technical solutions to senior business leaders.
