Risk Management Professional

Our search is for a seasoned compliance professional (m, f, d) to fill the position of Business Analyst Compliance Risk EMIR, MiFID II at a prominent bank in Zurich.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in transaction compliance, along with a deep understanding of complex regulatory frameworks.
Main Responsibilities:- Ongoing monitoring of regulatory requirements, such as EMIR and MiFID II, to ensure compliance.
- Conducting detailed analyses to identify gaps in current regulatory frameworks.
- Participating in the development and refinement of control frameworks and related documentation.
- Maintaining a high level of awareness regarding regulatory updates and adapt internal processes accordingly.
- Leading the development and implementation of risk-based control frameworks.
- Efficiently incorporating updated regulations into existing IT systems.
- Enabling process enhancements through thorough assessments and user acceptance testing.
- Targeted strategies for addressing identified vulnerabilities.
- Serving as the main point of contact for regulatory inquiries and concerns within the trading group.
- Delivering authoritative reports to senior management and relevant authorities.
- Planning impactful workshops, training sessions, and employee briefings to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Holding a Master or Bachelor degree, accompanied by extensive experience in transaction compliance within a banking setting.
- Deep understanding of various financial instruments (e.g., derivatives) and their corresponding regulatory environments.
- Substantial knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as EMIR, MiFID II, and SFTR.
- Familiarity with the workflow of trading environments.
- Exceptional analytical and project management skills.

- Proven leadership and negotiation abilities.

- Proficiency in both German and English languages.
