EH&S Specialist

At Otis, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for our employees, customers, and the communities we serve. We are seeking an EH&S Specialist to join our team in Switzerland.

The EH&S Specialist will be responsible for supporting the implementation of our EH&S program in Switzerland, working closely with our operational teams in the region. This includes managing data for EH&S reporting, conducting audits, training, and safety campaigns, and creating a monthly report for the teams.

• Implement EH&S policy and procedures
• Conduct safety campaigns and training programs for Otis employees and subcontractors
• Identify best practices that can be shared across the country
• Develop and implement monitoring and measurement criteria to evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies and programs
• Support operations in ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Provide guidance on EH&S programs and systems to operations
• Participate in the annual EH&S program review to ensure an acceptable score is achieved
• Investigate incidents and near-misses to ensure effective corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence
• Ensure data is available for all OTIS and regulatory requirements in a timely manner
• Ensure company policies (ethics, internal controls, and security) and all applicable regulations, procedures, standards, and guidelines are adhered to and met

• Technical degree or equivalent in a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in an EH&S department, preferably in the construction or service industry
• Experience with elevator maintenance is an asset
• Fluent in German, French, and English
• Proficient in MS Office tools, particularly Excel
