The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 and $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

This role involves supporting the development of new FISH service offerings and performing cytogenetic techniques (FISH) semi-automated and manual staining. You will also interpret FISH results under the supervision of a doctor and prepare workstations, instrumentation, and maintenance schedules.

• Interpret FISH results under the supervision of a doctor
  
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures
  
• Monitor reagents, material, and supplies
  
• Collaborate with team members to improve procedures
  
• Adhere to safety and occupational health policies and standards
  
• Routine decalcification, processing, embedding, microtomy, and re-embedding of human tissue specimens
  
• Maintain proper storage conditions and traceability of Histology blocks and slides
  

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of previous cytogenetic (FISH) experience and fluency in French. A diploma in Medical Technologist or Pharmaceutical Biology Technologist is also required.
