We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to oversee the accounting and tax compliance of our Swiss subsidiary.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Swiss local code, Swiss GAAP standards, and US GAAP, with advanced knowledge of English and native German.

Responsibilities will include monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing of the entity, preparation and filing of VAT returns, and preparation and filing of all tax returns.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing internal and external communications, accounts payable and check payments, and the controlling of the Swiss entity.

Additionally, they will assist in the development of internal reporting and ad hoc analysis as required.

Requirements include 5+ years of accounting experience in a similar environment, German as a native language, and professional Microsoft Excel and ERP knowledge.

Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills are also essential, as well as outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.

A team player with a positive attitude, willing to go the extra mile and help out, sees challenges as opportunities.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision, management experience is a plus.
