Research Opportunities

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified researcher to join our team at the University of St. The successful candidate will conduct research in decision theory and behavioral finance, with the possibility of working in the overlap of behavioral finance/economics with AI.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in decision theory and behavioral finance
  • Assist in teaching activities and outreach activities to make a bridge from academic research to applications
  • Prepare for the academic job market (postdoc) or apply to competitive PhD programs (predoc)
Requirements
  • Postdoc: near completion of a PhD or having completed a PhD in a relevant field
  • PhD student: master's degree in a relevant field, to be completed by summer 2024
  • Predoc: near completion of a master's degree or having obtained a master's degree in a relevant field
  • Strong interest in the mentioned research area(s) and in conducting academic research
  • Strong interest in theoretical modeling in economics and finance or in running experiments
