Cloud Native Applications Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Native Applications Engineer to join our team at Pro Informatik AG. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving the onboarding of applications to the Cloud Native Stack within our Markets Technology division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the onboarding of applications to the Cloud Native Stack within Markets Technology
  • Foster collaboration between teams to integrate shared platforms, including Observability and Testing frameworks
  • Develop and implement standardization and automation strategies to enhance efficiency
  • Cultivate a strong engineering culture within the team
  • Leverage expertise in engineering practices and processes to manage global business systems

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab, Octopus Deploy, Maven)
  • Development background in Java, .NET, Scala, or Python
  • Deep architectural experience, with ability to elicit NFRs and document system designs
  • Experience with Azure Application Platform, particularly AKS
  • Experience with Kubernetes deployments, distributed architectures, and low-latency systems

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in architecting and writing code for microservices and distributed applications
  • Operators, helm chart creation and maintenance
