About the Role:- Leadership and Strategic Guidance:
- Take charge of all financial operations in both Swiss and French offices, ensuring compliance with local standards.
- Maintain expertise on international accounting standards to consolidate financial statements effectively.
- Coordinate timely completion of audits, tax filings, and regulatory requirements for both countries, adapting to each audit's specific needs.
- Promote best practices within the global team to enhance financial management globally.
- Oversee the maintenance of the chart of accounts.
- Cash Management Excellence:
- Manage cash levels and reporting for the head office and regions, ensuring the right balance is maintained.
- Negotiate and maintain banking relationships to optimize transactions globally, acting as a liaison between banks and the company.
- Compliance Expertise:
- Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting and regulatory requirements to ensure seamless compliance.
- Be the primary point of contact for detailed interactions with external auditors and tax accountants.
- Accurately complete necessary reporting for government requirements, tax filings, and other submissions.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and international accounting standards.
- No less than 10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an international context, focusing on France and/or Switzerland.
- Proven track record in managing accounting standards and regulatory environments of France and/or Switzerland, as well as financial consolidation.
- Fluency in English and French.
- A high level of integrity and ethical standards.
$120,000 - $180,000 per annum.
