Middle Office Assets Business Analyst

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead internal and external transformation and development projects related to Middle Office, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and streamline workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide methodological input for development and change activities, focusing on PnL and positions to drive business growth.
  • Act as a service provider for portfolio owners, creating reports with validation of PnL and positions to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Monitor portfolio structures and processes, providing insights to drive business decisions.
  • Coordinate and support other units, ensuring that directives are met by the Front Office, while maintaining a controlling function.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement system enhancements and support new system implementations.
  • Create and enhance reports in terms of PnL, Positions, and Cashflows, utilizing PowerBI to drive business insights.

Your Profile

  • Hold a university degree in finance, engineering, data science, or a related field.
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy or finance business, with international scope.
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge and understanding of the value chain in the energy sector or commodity market.
  • Exhibit strong project and process management skills, with the ability to drive results-oriented teams.
  • Be proficient in Python, Power BI, VBA, and data analysis, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Have inter-cultural experience, with the ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
  • Be proficient in English, with French as an advantage.
