Lonza Audit Services (LAS) provides independent, risk-based assurance, advice, insight, and foresight to the board and management. The function reports directly to the Board and works closely with management to review activities, observe risks, and provide recommendations.
We are currently seeking an expert with extensive knowledge of SAP configurations, ideally including S/4 HANA configurations, who is eager to develop new career opportunities. As part of the LAS team, the candidate will contribute to internal audits, leveraging existing SAP expertise while being trained on business processes and internal auditing principles. Ideally, the candidate has in-depth experience in SAP-related configurations, master data, and transaction data as well as participation in SAP implementation projects. For approximately two years, depending on previous experiences, the candidate will be trained to understand and assess various business processes to identify potential risks and compliance gaps, as well as opportunities for improvements and process standardization across all company units worldwide. The aim is for the candidate to conduct audits independently and move into a line management career after about four years.
Main Responsibilities:- Execute assigned tasks in various internal audit assignments under the guidance and training of an audit manager, aiming to identify potential risks, compliance gaps, and opportunities for improvements across different business areas globally
- Support the audit team by providing insights and expertise related to SAP topics, involving analysis of SAP configurations, master and transaction data, to ensure effective controls, data accuracy, and system integrity
- Collaborate with various departments and provide insights and recommendations on process standardization and best practices within SAP/S4Hana environments
- Monitor the implementation of agreed recommendations and perform formal follow-up audits to confirm the effectiveness of the actions taken
- Act as a trusted advisor to the audit team, providing expert guidance on SAP standards, technology leverage, and data analytics to support risk assessments and audit execution
- Support LAS internal projects and collaborate with the team concerning initiatives targeting improvements and future developments of the LAS function
- University degree and corresponding work experience of at least several years
- Expert knowledge of SAP configuration parameters, master data objects, standard SAP transactions and reports, corresponding tables and fields and inter-linkages, especially related to the modules of FI, MM, SD, and WM
- Experience or participation in end-to-end SAP implementation projects, e.g., as a consultant, across different project phases (blueprinting, system design, build, testing, data migration, hypercare)
- Corresponding SAP module certifications regarding FI, MM, SD, or WM modules required
- Excellent English language skills verbally and in writing absolutely required
- Talent and ambition for career development options within the Group after about 3-4 years of engagement in internal auditing
- Travel requirements approximately 10-20%
