We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead our efforts in the Central Production Units (CPU). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing EHS strategies and programs to improve performance and reduce risks in the CPU.
ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing EHS strategies and programs to improve performance and reduce risk in the CPU.
- Leading the integration of EHS aspects into business practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyzing relevant KPIs, current practices, and accidents/incidents to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective actions.
- Providing professional support and training to local EHS managers and sharing best practices among entities.
You will also have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that promote sustainability and minimize the company's environmental footprint.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor or master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar education with 5+ years of experience within Health & Safety and/or Sustainability.
- Proven experience in executing complex projects as part of a matrix organization and working with multi-cultural, remote teams.
- Fluent in English and German with strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage others.
- Flexible for global travel in the area (up to 50% of the working time).
