About the Role
The IT department of ODDO BHF is a dynamic team of approximately people group-wide, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the bank's IT systems. In Switzerland, the IT department is composed of 5 talented individuals, working closely with the COO and other departments in Zurich, Geneva, and Lausanne.
In this challenging position, you will be responsible for the functional readiness of the applications and technical system environment, as well as its interfaces. You will coordinate, control, and monitor the service relationships with external service providers, ensuring the successful delivery of Application Service Providing (ASP) and Managed IT Services.
ODDO BHF Switzerland has a long history of using the Apsys Core Banking System, with various satellite applications interfaced with the Core Banking, including CIM for client master files, e-banking apps, and other tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the operational readiness of the bank system, in cooperation with service providers, and grow your communication and management skills.
- Implement and coordinate software releases, including testing.
- Analyze and implement regulatory and functional requirements in the bank's applications.
- Manage IT projects or be associated with the IT part of larger projects.
- Prepare and maintain documentation and instructions required for business processes.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of banking processes, products, and regulatory requirements.
- Degree in computer science, business informatics, or similar education, with a banking apprenticeship a plus.
- Several years of experience in IT and banking, with advanced SQL knowledge.
- Knowledge of core banking systems, with APSYS and CIM an advantage.
- Structured and analytical mindset, with conceptual and methodical skills.
- High degree of customer focus and team spirit.
- Initiative and willingness to take responsibility.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient German or French, with very good written and spoken English skills.
