About the Role:

Vitol is seeking an experienced Sourcing Advisor to join our global team in Geneva. As part of this role, you will work closely with our Human Rights Manager to strengthen our ESG Due Diligence processes for metals and energy supply chains.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk-based measures to monitor activities with higher potential salient risk profiles in the context of the Vitol Double Materiality Assessment results.
  • Undertake KYC on counterparties, working closely with the Vitol compliance team.
  • Conduct analysis of Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence, including benchmarking and interpreting results.
  • Provide information and ensure DD process in place meets regulatory reporting obligations.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years' experience in a similar role in a mining, energy or commodity trading firm.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize and find pragmatic solutions.
  • Analytical mindset, quantitative, excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, with superb attention to detail.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, ability to work independently as well as in a team.
