We are seeking an exceptional researcher to work on issues related to the regulation of digital platforms and taxation of their activities. Potential topics include:
- Taxation of digital products, two-sided markets, and network goods
- Privacy and public policy
- Value creation and taxation of corporate profits in the digital economy
- The effect of the digital economy on tax competition
- Artificial intelligence and fiscal systems
The successful applicant is expected to conduct high-quality research, ideally by having some papers under revision or accepted for publication in refereed international journals.
Key ResponsibilitiesApplicants should hold a PhD in Economics with a strong economic basis and show interest in the topics of the research program. The preferred candidate has demonstrated potential to conduct independent academic and policy-relevant research and contribute to ongoing research projects of the group.
