Automating the Future of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

TieTalent is looking for an experienced Automation Engineer PCS7 to help us shape the future of PCS7 automation. As a key player in this role, you'll take ownership of Siemens PCS7 & SIMATIC Batch automation and drive innovation in our manufacturing processes. Your mission will be to create a seamless bridge between production and automation, making our operations more efficient and effective.

About the Role

You'll work closely with end users, fine-tune processes, and actively shape the future of automation internally. This role involves leading and supporting Siemens PCS7 automation projects, owning and optimizing SIMATIC Batch processes, and acting as the process owner for automation topics.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead & support Siemens PCS7 automation projects.
  • Own & optimise SIMATIC Batch processes, performing small-scale programming & adjustments.
  • Act as the process owner for automation topics, supporting production teams & ensuring smooth operations.
  • Test, validate, and fine-tune automation systems for long-term efficiency.
  • Help establish PCS7 knowledge.
  • Support IT/OT integration - configure network connections & IP addressing for automated systems.
  • Work hands-on in commissioning (Inbetriebnahme) and continuous system improvements.

What You Bring
  • Min 3+ years of hands-on experience in Siemens PCS7 & SIMATIC Batch.
  • Strong programming & troubleshooting skills (small-scale modifications & optimisations).
  • GxP/GMP experience in pharma or regulated industries preferred.
  • IT/OT network integration knowledge (understanding IP addressing, system architecture) is a great plus.
  • Commissioning (Inbetriebnahme) experience, you know how to get systems running smoothly.
  • Ability to work independently, you're proactive, solution-oriented, and can take ownership.
  • Bonus: Experience with Process Analytical Technology (PAT) & reading electrical schematics.
  • English Fluent (project language), German technical understanding a big plus (motivation to learn German is welcomed).
