We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of quality policies, procedures, and standards across our Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain quality policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Lead the quality assurance team to ensure effective implementation of quality systems and processes.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective action.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements that enhance quality and efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on quality-related matters, including training and coaching.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing quality systems and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies, such as APQP, QRQC, 8D, SHAININ, and Six Sigma.
