Cybersecurity Architect Expert

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Architect to join our team. This is a key role in assessing new IT initiatives, evaluating proposed security solutions, and ensuring they align with the organization's security policies and technical measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess security requirements for new IT initiatives and evaluate proposed solutions against established security policies.
• Work closely with IT architects to ensure security considerations are integrated into the design of solutions.
• Assist in the evaluation of Change Requests, ensuring that security measures are adequate and compliant with company policies.
• Provide recommendations for security improvements, focusing on risk management and vulnerability mitigation.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal security guidelines and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and security requirements
• Stay informed of industry developments, evaluating and incorporating new security technologies and strategies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in IT security architecture, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of IT security frameworks and regulatory compliance, such as GDPR, Solvency II, and ISO 27001.
• Experience applying Onion++ or similar methodologies for security assessments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex security issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in German or other languages is a plus.
• Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented work approach.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on risk mitigation.

We offer a competitive salary range of **CHF 120,000 - CHF 150,000 per year**, depending on experience. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients across different industries, and receive ongoing training and support to develop your skills.

The ideal candidate will be based in the Greater Zurich Area or remote, and will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex security issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
