Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role:

Ascent Health Services Switzerland is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting senior finance leadership with financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly close process, forecasting, budgeting, and variance reporting, while conducting margin analysis.
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly executive reports and participate in annual budget planning.
  • Perform in-depth trend analysis and develop recommendations to ensure long-term profitability.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting and deliver insights to business partners and stakeholders.
  • Use large and complex datasets to build financial models and support key business initiatives.
  • Engage in special financial projects that drive process and reporting improvements across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial forecasting, analysis, and modeling, with a strong aptitude for working cross-functionally.
  • Proven experience in handling complex data and driving decision-making through financial insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerBI), and familiarity with relational databases (Essbase, SQL).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and drive continuous improvement in financial processes.
