Construction Liability Underwriter

Excel in your career with Helvetia Specialty Lines, a renowned Swiss insurance provider. As a Construction Liability Underwriter, you'll be responsible for analyzing and evaluating risks for construction projects in Switzerland and abroad.

You will work closely with our claims department to handle complex cases and contribute to a motivated team environment. Your location will be Zurich Stettbach & Flex-Office.

• Detailed underwriting analysis of Construction Liability accounts, terms, and conditions
• Negotiation of terms and conditions with brokers and clients, focusing on long-term sustainability and profitability
• Ensuring compliance with Helvetia Group Underwriting Directives and Strategy
• Developing an extensive knowledge of the Construction Liability Client and Broker network

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• University degree in Law or commercial background
• Further qualification, such as Insurance certification, is advantageous
• Professional experience in Casualty underwriting or the underlying industry
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and sales skills
• Good business acumen and understanding of the Construction Liability insurance markets
• Positive, flexible, and team-oriented approach
• Proficiency in English and German, additional languages beneficial

The estimated salary range for this position is 80,000 – 120,000 CHF per year, depending on experience. You can expect competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.
