Career Advancement Consultant

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Career Counselor to join our Career Services Department at Sommet Education.

The Career Counselor will guide students through every stage of their career journey, from career planning to securing internships and post-graduation opportunities.

This includes organizing Career Days, company visits, and other recruitment events, as well as sourcing career opportunities and developing relationships with hospitality employers worldwide.

• Provide personalized support to students, fostering their career development and ensuring they are prepared for successful careers in the hospitality industry.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance student employability and promote Les Roches' global reputation.
• Collaborate with a multicultural team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
• Manage career events, build relationships with employers and external partners, and stay updated on industry trends.

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Human Resources, Event Management or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in hospitality, with a proven track record of organizing large-scale events (1000+ attendees) in an international setting.
• In-depth knowledge of the global hospitality industry and market trends, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with career tools and presentations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with fluency in English required and additional languages like French, German, Spanish, or Chinese a plus.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate in a multicultural team.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
