FenX AG, a spin-off from ETH Zurich, is tackling the world's energy and greenhouse gas challenge by introducing innovative technology and materials to the building insulation market.

We're looking for a talented and passionate intern with expertise in materials to support our Technical Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate in the co-development of porous minerals and production of prototypes.
  • Transfer R&D formulations to the prototyping plant.
  • Perform material characterization and support on material certification.
  • Plan and improve prototype production processes.
  • Support in operating and maintaining the prototyping line.
  • Assist the technical team on other issues as required.
Requirements
  • Materials science, mechanical, or civil engineering background with knowledge/passion for ceramic and cementitious materials.
  • Impact-driven individual with a passion for innovation.
  • Hands-on attitude and technical understanding.
  • Systematic problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented and reliable.
  • English and German proficiency.
  • Knowledge in Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Python, CAD is a plus.
  • Swiss work permit.
