Job Description
As a Data Engineering & Insights Analyst Intern, you'll help structure data, define business needs, and improve accessibility. You'll also support BI tool selection, and report consolidation. The role involves working closely with the CTO and key stakeholders to shape Algrano's data infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to understand key reporting needs.
- Use SQL views and Python scripts to extract and process data.
- Structuring the data warehouse to ensure data is accessible and optimized for analytics.
- Support the evaluation, configuration, and implementation of our analytics tool.
- Migrate and optimize existing reports into the selected analytics platform.
Requirements
- Background in Data Science, Engineering, or Analytics (or relevant studies/experience).
- Experience with Data Warehouse concepts and design principles.
- Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy in data reporting.
- Experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Familiarity with Python for data processing and automation.
- Understanding of data modeling concepts (fact/dimension tables, OLAP databases).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an iterative, evolving data environment.
