Credit and Market Risk Internship
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Credit and Market Risk teams for a 6-month internship. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both Credit Risk (Lombard lending, Mortgages, Credit cards) and Market Risk (Derivatives risk monitoring and lending value assessments).
Key Responsibilities
Credit Risk
- Review and analyze Credit Applications from the Front Office for Lombard credit operations.
- Continuously monitor client credit exposure and manage collateral shortfall situations with Front Office collaboration.
- Process credit-related administrative tasks, including issuing credit documents and updating IT systems.
- Produce statistical reports and KPIs for the Head of Credit.
Market Risk
- Collaborate with the risk management team to monitor and analyze specific collateral for Lombard loans.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with Bank Syz's risk management policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the organization.
Requirements
Educational background: Master's degree in Finance or equivalent required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and experience with programming languages (VBA + Python) is a plus.
Languages: Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
