We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in computer science and software engineering, with a focus on machine learning and natural language processing. You should have a deep understanding of Python software development stacks and ecosystems, as well as experience with other programming languages and ecosystems.
Essential skills and experience include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, ideally in the context of machine learning and natural language processing.
- Strong understanding of machine learning capabilities and techniques, including probabilistic models and mathematical concepts underlying machine learning methods.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and cloud-native applications.
Preferred skills and experience include:
- Experience integrating machine learning solutions into production-grade software and understanding of ModelOps and MLOps principles.
- Proficiency in automation, system monitoring, and cloud-native applications, with familiarity in AWS or Azure.
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) problems and familiarity with key tasks such as Named Entity Recognition (NER), Information Extraction, and Information Retrieval.
