R&D Internship in Biopolymers

Unlock Your Potential in Biopolymers R&D
Sulzer, a leading engineering company, is seeking a highly motivated R&D Engineering Intern to join our Bio-polymers and Bio-monomers R&D team within the Chemtech division in Switzerland.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to various scales of experimentations, supporting our R&D engineers in bio-polymers production.
- Conduct systematic investigations on bio-polymers synthesis and processing.
- Characterize comprehensively the produced bio-polymers to enable application development.
- Ideate and evaluate next generation bio-polymers.
- Present results at group meetings and summarize your work in reports.
Requirements:
- Excellent master's degree or PhD in chemistry/material science/chemical engineering.
- Laboratory experience in conducting organic chemistry experiments and using chromatographic equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical testing and thermal characterization is advantageous.
- Fluent English, with any other language an advantage.
- Skilled in MS Office 365, especially Excel.
