Chief Python Software Architect

At Randstad, we are seeking a skilled Senior Python Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and be able to work independently, managing multiple priorities and communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Implementing a Python Library: Develop a comprehensive Python library on top of a REST API, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Loader Scripts Development: Create efficient loader scripts using the Python library, streamlining data processing and analysis.
- PoC Mapping Concept Algorithm: Implement a Proof-of-Concept (PoC) mapping concept algorithm utilizing GraphDB and Large Language Model (LLM) services, pushing the boundaries of data mapping and manipulation.
- Documentation and Training: Document architecture, usage, and operational procedures, as well as train scientists in utilizing the library and scripts, ensuring a smooth adoption process.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, fostering effective communication and stakeholder buy-in.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the highest standards of software quality.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in Python programming, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
- A solid understanding of software architecture best practices, including design patterns and principles.
- Experience working with JSON and REST APIs in Python, with the ability to integrate disparate systems.
- Bonus points for experience with ChatGPT API and RDF graph databases.
- Excellent English communication and documentation skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, concise language.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities, with a focus on delivering results under tight deadlines.
